Breathwork Growth & Development Group
For Breathwork Practitioners at Every Stage of Their Journey
Whether you're a student just beginning your breathwork journey, a qualified practitioner looking to refine your practice, or someone preparing to see your first client, the Breathwork Growth and Development Group offers a supportive, in-depth space for exploration and growth. This ongoing group is designed to deepen your understanding of the breath, its mechanics, its energetic and physical impact, and its therapeutic potential. We explore over 40 different breathing techniques, revisiting them regularly based on the needs of the group.

In-Depth Exploration of Individual Breaths
We break down each breath technique, examining how it affects the body, how it interacts with the nervous system, and how to recognise and work with contraindications.
Live Demonstrations
Experienced tutors, Phiona and Alison demonstrate proper technique and common missteps, helping you identify and embody correct practice.
Interactive Practice
Practice breathwork in small breakout groups to build confidence and receive supportive peer feedback.

Each session includes a Q&A circle to help consolidate your learning, clarify challenges, and connect the breathwork to your personal or professional journey.

Development Circle vs. Supervision: What's the Difference?
While both the Development Circle and Supervision support your growth as a breathwork practitioner, they serve very different purposes:
Development Circle
The Development Circle is an experiential learning space. It focuses on the exploration and practice of breathwork techniques, helping you: Deepen your understanding of various breath styles. Build confidence in your practical skills. Learn through group demonstrations, breakout practice sessions, and Q&A. Integrate breathwork into your existing modalities. Explore the physical, emotional, and energetic aspects of breath. t’s a hands-on, collaborative environment designed to strengthen your breath practice, whether you're just starting out or already seeing clients.
Supervision
Supervision, on the other hand, is a more personal and reflective process. It’s a space to: Discuss your client cases in a confidential setting. Receive feedback and ethical guidance. Explore professional challenges or doubts. Reflect on your role and responsibilities as a practitioner. Ensure you’re working safely and effectively within your scope. Supervision is often one-on-one or in small, focused groups, and it’s essential for maintaining best practice and professional integrity. Together, both spaces complement each other: the Development Circle sharpens your practical skills, while Supervision supports your professional practice and personal development as a therapist.
The Breathwork Growth Development Group is held once a month online, for two hours at £15 per person.
